WHO TO BLAMEONE PERSON, ONE SPOON

About me.

I’m a programmer, a husband, a dad and somebody who finds AI endlessly fascinating, which is why I designed a game around defeating a dragon with only a spoon and your wits.

Why a spoon

Most games give you a sword. Here the only weapon is your argument, and the dragon concedes only what you earn. It will not believe you are a wizard just because you said so. A handful of turns is enough to win, lose, or embarrass yourself memorably.

No two stories are the same

Every story is written fresh, move by move. Everybody gets the same quest, the same object and the same problem to solve, but every story is a unique disaster. Three people can bring the same spoon to the same dragon and come back with a heist, a courtroom drama and a cooking show.

How it works

Limited turns, one object nobody would choose, and a chronicler who plays it straight: you speak for yourself, it speaks for everyone else. After the last one a council reads the whole thing back and scores it. Most runs lose, which is what makes the ones that land worth reading. The rules, the rubric and the ladder are on how it works.
