Terms, in short

  • Who this is with: Acapella Technologies LLC, doing business as Sevenfold Quest. These terms cover the website and the iPhone app.
  • You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they should read these terms.
  • A language model writes the story and judges it. You type your moves; what happens next, and the verdict, are generated.
  • Your stories are yours, and they are public. You keep ownership of what you write. Finished stories can be read and voted on by other players, and you are responsible for what you put in them.
  • Keep it decent and play it yourself. Nothing obscene, harassing, hateful or unlawful, and no bots or scripts. We can remove a username we find inappropriate.
  • Purchases are in US dollars, sales tax is added where it is required, and prices can change.
  • Refunds: on the website, at our discretion within fourteen days of the purchase; in the iPhone app, Apple decides. See refunds below.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we can change or withdraw any part of the service.
  • The service is provided as it is, with our liability limited as the terms set out.
  • Disputes: Texas law applies. We both agree to try to settle a dispute informally for 30 days, then by binding arbitration, one person at a time and not as a class action, and within a year of the cause.
  • Questions: support@sevenfoldquest.com. See also the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

This is a summary. The full terms below are the ones that apply.

Refunds

  • Every purchase is a single payment. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
  • What you buy opens on your account the moment you pay, so there is no cooling-off period.
  • On the website: refunds are at our discretion, within fourteen days of the purchase. Ask through the contact page or at support@sevenfoldquest.com, from the email address on the account.
  • In the iPhone app: the purchase is made with Apple, and Apple decides the refund. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • A refund closes what the purchase opened.
